A workshop titled “Creative Activism and Poster Design”

Michael Thompson aka Freestylee, Creative Activist and Graphic Designer was invited to conduct a Hands-on studio session workshop with the students Phillips Exeter Academy, in New Hampshire, United States. Freestylee work was also on view at the Lamont Gallery’s Graphic Advocacy exhibition.

The workshop was organized by Phillips Exeter’s MLK Day Committee, composed of PEA students and employees, which seeks to honor Dr. King’s vision of building a “beloved community” by planning inspiring and thought-provoking programs about race and racism, civil and human rights, violence and peace building, and social and global justice.
